How MastrHold Works

The Mastrhold On-Hold System is simple: a professional voice delivering YOUR PERSONAL MESSAGE to your customers.

There are several good reasons for NOT attempting to hook up a CD player or a radio to the MOH input on your telephone system.

Message on hold players are intended to run continuously, whereas CD players, (which have moving parts) are not. You also have the requirements for music licensing when playing commercially purchased music over your telephone system. Additionally, most quality message on hold players will provide the required frequency response to a telephone system that ensures the playback message has the sound and presence of the human voice. This is why radios or CD players sound “tinny” or distant when used in a MOH application.

WELL, HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS: The Mastrhold SY-259 will operate with any central phone system controller that has a MOH (music on hold) input.

The Mastrhold SY-259 product line will operate:

  • with any central phone system controller that has a MOH (music on hold) input.
  • with a single telephone system (with an economical adapter) for the small office user.
  • with a dual telephone system (with an economical adapter) for the small office user.

    * The only telephone system that you might have an issue with is one of the bargain telephone systems from a large office supply chain or if the existing MOH input controller on your PBX needs to be enabled or programmed.
